RelationShifts
A college basketball coach once told me that when It comes to conditioning athletes, the most important thing is not how much you do, but how consistent you are at doing it. He said that paying attention to the small things and continually getting better was the secret to success in the college basketball world.
I think the same is true in relationships. When we are willing to pay attention to the little things in our lives, it can have a powerful impact on those around us. Strong relationships are developed and grown through consistent behavior that sends a message of authentic care, listening, and adapting when needed. They are not found in emotional roller-coaster rides or empty promises. Effective relationships happen when we are willing to make little shifts in our behavior toward another person.
That’s why we are re-introducing our podcast RelationShifts (formerly known as Crossing The Line). This podcast is all about how to have thriving, healthy, and powerful relationships personally and professionally. We will provide proven and effective ways that you can begin, develop and grow the important relationships in your life.
Take a minute to listen or watch our first podcast of the year where we talk about small “shifts” you can make that will have a big impact on your relationships.
