Joy & Peace
“It’s the happiest time of the year.” I realize that is not a true statement for everyone. Some of you are struggling, hurting, and experiencing loneliness this time of the year. I realize that the holiday season means different things to different people. Personally, this season is about more than happiness to me. It is about joy.
I celebrate the birth of Jesus who brings joy regardless of my circumstance. He brings purpose and meaning to my life. That purpose is what drives me to love, and it is what allows me to experience a peace that I can’t explain.
My family and l will be celebrating the birth of Jesus by spending time together and loving each other. I hope that you enjoy time with family and loved ones this week. May you find joy and peace.
For me, celebrating the birth of Jesus truly makes a difference.
